Henrik Werdelin and In2media establish Prehype in Denmark

A team of seasoned Danish and international entrepreneurs will help established Danish companies to rediscover their entrepreneurial spirit. The method is clear; working with radical innovation and keep the process short from idea to action if companies are to get to the next phase – or get out of the crisis.

In collaboration with the entrepreneur guru Henrik Werdelin, In2media are establishing a Danish division of the American company, Prehype. The business plan is to help established, larger Danish companies by developing new products, kick-start new areas of business and start completely new companies up.

- Even the most experienced directors can find it difficult to arouse their entrepreneurial spirit and create innovation that can seriously add value to the company. When there is need for radical innovation, most companies are put to the test, and it is here that Prehype steps in to help, explains Henrik Werdelin, who started Prehype in New York.

Most recently, Werdelin worked with Hot Potato in New York, which was sold to Facebook.

Entrepreneur bridge between Denmark and USA

A part of the business plan is to build a bridge to the American entrepreneurial environment, with the intention that part of the Danish projects will be implemented in New York.

- Through Prehype’s international network, such as in the US, we can link an innovative and agile entrepreneurial culture with Danish companies’ deep domain knowledge and distribution power. In the intersection is a wide variety of unique possibilities for establishing new, exciting projects and products.

Prehype has been active in the US for about a year and a half and is currently working with brands such as Coca Cola, Verizon and Wolf Ollins. In addition to USA, Prehype has also been established in England – and now in Denmark too. In the Danish branch, the goal is also for Prehype to start their own companies like they have done in USA, such as Basno.com and Barkbox.com.

Danish companies ready

At In2media, Tim Frank Andersen can announce that several of the agency’s clients want help to become more agile and to be faster in bringing new products onto the market.

- Through Prehype, we can extend our digital expertise and core skills with a new dimension, which is about using the techniques that characterise successful start-up companies.

Prehype Denmark will be run by Tim Frank Andersen, whilst Henrik Werdelin and the other partners from the network will actively participate in the Danish projects.
